Another Winter Storm Advisary

From the National Weather Service:

Up to 10 inches of snow and blowing snow in the mountains near Rural, America, from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening. Rain, snow and freezing rain in the valley floor with periods of low visibility due to blowing and drifting snow. Caution should be exercised when driving. Expect temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Have a nice day.

Brrrrrr! We have a cold front passing over us now, started this AM early. They are saying up to 16 inches in the Cascades. That my hit you guys later in the week too. Brrrrrr!

My son would give a limb for such a weather forecast. Usually around here we get "mixed precipitation with a possible accumulation of 1/2 an inch", which sends people into a state of pure panic.

As long as you have the makings of soup and a sweater, sounds kind of perfect.

Heh, heh, it would be nice if the season called "autumn" had preceded winter this year, but it doesn't appear that's the case. Two weeks ago I wore ski pants to watch a cross-country track meet for about 16 minutes. We've gone from T-shirts directly to parkas, not stopping at wool sweaters and golden leaves, and not collecting $200.
